Saltburn is a functional railway inspired variable text-face, carefully designed for track and rail. Its life began as a few rabid digital sketches - borne out of a desire to design a functional sans-serif text-face. As development went on, this slowly morphed into a retrospective ode to railways and in particular, nationalised railways of post-war Europe.
